The Mayor offers teachers and students receive CEIP Maestro Laborda and sites in France, Romania, Portugal, Italy, Turkey and Belgium, participating in a Comenius project on environment (19/02/2013)

The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, María Dolores Sánchez, has offered a reception for teachers and students of CEIP Enrique Laborda participating in the Comenius project with students and teachers of Chatenay-Malabry (France) , Craiova (Romania), Funchal (Portugal), Monte San Giovanni Campano (Italy), Carsamba Samsun (Turkey), Chojnow (Poland) and Brussels (Belgium).

These students and teachers work together on the project 'Ã l'écologie Educaction by le développement durable cités us' Ecocites project on the environment.

The mayor pointed out that Murcia was in 2009 the winner of the seventh edition of the Sustainable City Award, that the City Council is working hard on sustainable policies to protect the environment and to carry out projects with schools and colleges as the Green Schools .

It also singled out the Chamber of Murcia hospital and wished to teachers and students a happy stay in Murcia and come back soon because "this is your home."
