The municipal coordinator of IU-Greens in Murcia, Francisco Muñoz, has advanced today that its formation will file motions in the municipal boards to express their rejection of the VAT hike.
Muñoz has indicated that this tax increase causes "more suffering" to citizenship and involves "more unemployment and poverty."
Given this increase, has proposed to effectively fight against tax fraud and implement progressive tax reform to pay one more win, instead of the social majority.
He recalled that the PP applies cuts in public services while maintaining aid to the Episcopal Conference, "thus setting the stage of maximum injustice, increasing inequality gap in the country."
He has also insisted that the VAT increase is "another blow" to the purchasing power of citizens, resulting in consumption and impedes economic recovery.
