San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) today introduced Polimedia tool that lets you create high-quality audiovisual lessons without previous knowledge.
This is a technology developed by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), which consists of a small white room with cameras and screens in which the teacher explaining the lesson will be recorded and as a "weather man" on the screens you will see that appears beside your PowerPoint presentation, PDF or other file or element.
This may make the videos "in just twenty minutes without postproduction" as indicated Despujol Ignacio Zabala, Technical Systems new Internet applications in the UPV, to share with students through the Campus Virtual.
The implementation of this element in the UCAM will "do more personal lessons Online", and most instructive, exposing Samuel Mendoza Garcia, Director Multimedia and Virtual Campus UCAM, making "Polimedia is the element that moves the physical campus to Jeronimos Sami students online and face, "explained the Director Multimedia.
A tool that already have prestigious universities, such as the Barcelona Autonomous University of La Laguna, as well as some in South America and Australia.
Adding this new technology to those already used by the University as: Google, Apple and Sakai, among others, is to "put out the biggest" said Samuel Mendoza as being at the forefront of the latest technologies applied to education.
