San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM) has welcomed nearly a hundred Brazilian students under the Science Without Borders program established by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
Students who remain in the Catholic during the 2012-2013 academic year, will go primarily for undergraduate Health Sciences and the School of Engineering.
The event host intervened UCAM president, José Luis Mendoza, the rector, Josefina Garcia, and the rector of International Relations and Communication, Paul Blesa.
The rector of International Relations and Communication, Paul Blesa, has stressed that "the presence of these students here demonstrates the passion of UCAM for internationalization, and we will also give you a color very carioca to college this year."
He also stressed that "these are students from all over Brazil, with high academic standards."
Blesa stressed that "we are lucky today because the Brazilian Ministry of Education has selected us as one of the colleges to which you are sending over the next four years students, students who are with us today, mostly from polytechnics, of engineering, and computer science or health sciences.
