The auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Business hosts the Thursday, May 17, the conference economist Timothy Kehoe, a professor at the University of Minnesota (USA), who will speak on "The Great Depression and the Current Crisis in Spain ".
Kehoe, Advisor to the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and a member of the National Bureau of Economic reserach, is skilled in many economic areas but especially in great depressions, international trade, capital flows and exchange rates, etc..
In addition, he advised the Spanish government in assessing the impact of the country's entry into the EU and Mexico for its entry into NAFTA.
The event, which will begin at 12:30 pm, is organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Alumni Association and Friends of the School (A4FEEM).
