The closing UCAM Congress 'Modern Constitutionalism and Human Rights Protection' (27/04/2012)

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) has closed this noon on Congress 'Modern Constitutionalism and Human Rights Protection: The relation of Cadiz' has had the participation of prestigious experts involved in the matter, as the Secretary of State Trade, Jaime García Legaz, extraordinary professor of Canon Law and Ecclesiastical State of the UCAM, director of the Chair of Church-State Relations and Human Rights, and Civil Legal Services Director of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, Silverio Nieto Nunez; or former Attorney General, John Ortiz Úrculo, among others.

During the closing ceremony the director intervened Civil Legal Service of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, Silverio Nieto Nunez Rector Honorary UCAM Fraguas Antonio Montoro, and the Dean of Law Degree UCAM, Francisco de la Torre.

Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García Legaz, has lectured on how to raise the status of autonomy and the malfunctions that generated the abuse of state autonomy within the framework of the Constitution, and the economic problems that have now Spain itself derived basically a misunderstood concept of autonomous state.

Similarly, include the words spoken by Silverio Nieto at the opening of the act in reference to the Constitution of Cadiz.

"It's really the first Spanish Constitution, and represents a milestone in the advancement of fundamental rights."
