The Department of Culture, directed by Rafael Gomez, in collaboration with the Plan MurciaEscultura recovery has been fueled by one of the hallmarks of the hamlet of Espinardo.
It will be a tribute to the tradition, history, and generations of residents of Espinardo that grew and prospered around the pepper industry.
The main entrance of the hamlet will in the coming weeks with a monument in memory of the effort and the work done for centuries around this important raw material, which managed to spread the name of Murcia in the world and still maintains its presence in international markets.
The paprika mill was lent by Jose Maria Fuster Hernandez, owner of the firm's Odalisque, located in the district since 1919.
