Sign in prison for assaulting a woman inside of your car to steal her purse (27/04/2012)

In the arrest of perpetrator and recovering stolen effects was decisive citizen participation

National Police agents belonging to the District Commissioner of San Andrés, in Murcia, have arrested a man 33 years old, and Spanish nationals on suspicion of robbery with violence and intimidation committed in a street of this city and whose victim was a woman who was inside his vehicle.

The incident occurred last April 22, about 19.00 h., In a central area of ​​Murcia.

When the victim was inside his vehicle, which was being held, was assaulted by a man who threatened her with a large screwdriver, managed to snatch her purse after a struggle and flee.

As a result of the events the woman suffered minor injuries.

Immediately after the event, officials of the Commissariat of St. Andrew rushed to the scene.

After attending to the victim and thanks to the cooperation of citizens able to recover the stolen purse and screwdriver used by the assailant as a weapon of intimidation, as well as locate the motorcycle that had been used just before this.

With all the data the agents were able to identify and arrest the perpetrator on the day after the offense.

The detainee is accused of the crime of robbery with violence and intimidation and crime simulation, since in the space of time between the crime and his arrest had filed a complaint for theft of his motorcycle with the intent to conceal their participation in the facts.

The prisoner was brought before the magistrate Guard Roles Murcia on April 24 ordered that they be remanded in custody.
