Murcia, capital of Spanish and Latin American University (27/04/2012)

Murcia, April 27, 2012. - On 3 and 4 May, Murcia is the capital of Spanish and Latin American University in hosting the XII General Meeting of Universia, the largest network of universities in Portuguese-speaking, formed by 1,232 academic institutions in 23 countries.

Is expected to attend the heads of the 79 universities that are Universia Spain and Emilio Botin, chairman of Banco Santander Universia and accompanied by Adelaida de la Calle, president of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) Jose Antonio Cobacho, rector of the University of Murcia, Jaume Pagès, CEO of Universia, and Jose Antonio Villasante, general manager and director of Banco Santander Santander Universities Global Division.

The meeting will analyze the activities carried out in 2011 and laid out the lines of future action.

A full schedule of activities

The twelfth Annual General Meeting of Universia also includes the "Meeting Agora Santander-Universidad de Murcia", on May 3, which have been invited Spanish and foreign students from the universities of Alicante, Miguel Hernandez, Technical University of Cartagena and Murcia that have benefited from any of the Santander Scholarship programs.
