Mario Sierra competed in the category M4 (from 46 to 50 years) and Antonio Sierra, launched at M2 (36 to 40).

Mario had two tough matches with a high level judokas.

The first match was very complicated, because the rocky Galician put ahead on the scoreboard in the opening seconds.

The teacher took advantage of his opportunity and Ecuador could combat ippon, which gave him victory.

The second fight would be against a judoka Catalan, before which achieved a Waza-ari in the beginning of combat chaining with immobilization, which meant the victory of the battle and the Gold category.

Antonio did not have it easy, as their united with the M1 category where he was a judoka who has achieved national and international level not too long ago.

The first match against a French, began losing, but the feeling is that Murcia could do with the victory.

Injury to the French (one of the Tournament) accelerated the victory of Antonio.

The second match against a Spaniard, was resolved in favor of Antonio in a few seconds, what could the first place in their league and qualifying for the semifinals.

In the semifinals faced the top seed and eventual champion, the Spaniard Muñiz (M1).

Antonio did not have much choice, because his opponent was imposed shortly after a great start thanks to Ippon.

A well deserved Bronze and worked for Murcia.

Congratulations to our "Veterans", showing that age is no barrier to still have hope to train and compete.

We also congratulate the organization of the tournament and especially to Gerardo Poncela, for the excellent atmosphere that took place in the competition and agility in their development.
