The UCAM held a conference on concrete technology (20/04/2012)

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) held during the 19th and a Technical Conference on April 20 about the 'Concrete Technology.

The provision according to EHE-08 ', and have been organized jointly by the Degrees in Engineering Building and Civil Engineering, the UCAM.

The conference was inaugurated by the director of the School of Civil Engineering, Pedro de los Santos Jimenez, the director of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering, John Roland Ruiz, and the Industrial Technical Engineer, Antonio David Frutos attached to the Spanish delegation of the National Association of Manufacturers Concrete Ready (ANEFHOP) in the Region of Murcia.

Note the lecture by Juan Roldan, who has lectured on 'The concrete of the poor'.

The speaker explained the research work done by the Catholic University of Murcia, under his direction, and through the Department of Architectural Structures, which has been on and design and construction of temporary shelters in Haiti after the earthquake.

"We used a very poor concrete, which is rubble of earthquake itself, put into sacks, and bordered with some kind of cement," has reviewed the director of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering.

Similarly, during the conference also involved the company's Technical architect Hormisa Concrete Southeast, José Lopez Calvo, José Morgado and Francisco Calvo, owned by CEMEX Spain, the architect Technical CTCON materials area, Carlos Rodriguez, ANEFHOP delegate, José María Carrau, and the director of the Laboratory of Building UCAM, Jesus H.
