The photo exhibition will be inaugurated tomorrow, Friday, at 20 hours

Space río_ Mills Stables welcomes in its two municipal areas, a total of nineteen large format images, made for thirteen years Ciuco Gutierrez and leading to the exhibition "Landscapes 1996-2009 emotional."

The exhibition will be from tomorrow Friday, April 20, until 30 June.

Ciuco Gutierrez made in 1983 made the first images that had a strong personal accent.

He burst into the field of photography with a language in which the aggressive color and irony were his expressive arms.

His compositions did not leave anyone indifferent: either hated or were just the opposite.

So, three years later he made his first solo exhibition at Gallery Moriarty in Madrid and since then has continued to exhibit in Spain and abroad.

Ciuco Gutierrez was one of the first photographers, along with Ouka Lele, Alberto García Alix, Joan Fontcuberta Javier Vallhonrat and opened the general galleries for photography and exhibited his work at ARCO.

Since then his work has revolved around the staging of spaces and places where, from a very intimate look at the imagination which has been a fundamental part of speech, through objects, the paradox and the color has transformed into a dreamlike world recreating itself.

Among the museums and institutions that have their work include the National Museum Reina Sofia, Cualladó the IVAM Collection, Museum of Fine Arts of Santander, Coca Cola Foundation, Foundation for Art and Technology Collection La Caixa, Editorial Lumwerg, etc. Collection Unicaja.

Currently, Ciuco Gutierrez is director of the International Photography Master EFTI.

Ciuco Gutierrez has made a variety of series, along with more than thirty years of work, flower lovers, Twelve murders and suicide, a place to live (to be) and so on.

they are all a valuable insight into the history of photography in recent years in our country.

This exhibition covers two of them in which the thread is the landscape: Landscapes interior or the color of memory and Desserts.

Note that the Saturday, April 21, there will be a free workshop in which participating Ciuco Gutierrez, to be held in Victor Villegas Auditorium of Murcia.
