The painters come to Teatro Circo Murcia (17/04/2012)

The sketches of Pedro Cano, on to the staging of Memoirs of Hadrian, which will give rise to a new initiative "in Scene Painters"

Murcia Circus Theatre starts a new initiative to bring theater to all sectors of society Murcia.

On this occasion, and under the name of Painters in the scene, start a new form of interaction between different artistic as painting and theater.

Scene painters respond well to TCM desire to open up to other sectors in the different relationship they may have in the theater, and ultimately, with art in general.

Note that many artists from Murcia who had close contact with Thalia, the muse of art, and therefore, Teatro Circo Murcia have taken advantage of this great artistic legacy pictorial closer to citizens.

From the admirable Ramon Gaya and Luis Garay until the young Paco Azorin, one of the leading figures of today with regard to the performing arts.

Over the years, one after another will be in the lobby of TCM, so that everyone, the general public and students can learn about the work on the world scene conducted our greatest painters.

The schedule of the exhibition, which runs through May 11, will be the box office: Tuesday to Friday from 10.30 to 13.30 and from 17.30 to 20.30 hours, and schedule of performances.

After the presence of the painter Pedro Cano, Murcia Circus Theatre will continue with other artists (from next October), for example, FCG or Ramon Gaya.

It presents sketches for the stage (sets, costumes ...) and leave them on display three or four weeks.

Pedro Cano

The painter Pedro Cano was born on August 10, 1944, in Blanca (Murcia).

He began painting in oils of a self-taught when he was only 10 years.

A chance encounter with the painter Benaches Amparo Valencia in 1959, determine its artistic orientation and start on the direct observation of nature.

In the paintings of Pedro Cano predominate garden produce and the influence of his travels around the world.

Pedro Cano has exhibited in the middle world, including Italy.
