The Gate Cultural Center is organizing the workshop Castilla organic urban gardens 3rd edition (13/04/2012)

At the workshop, participants will learn everything you need for the design and management of ecological urban gardening, all practically on the ground in the Garden of Gates of Castile.

As of April 20 and along the four working sessions, prepare the substrate, plant different varieties of the season, discover the main techniques for biological control of pests and harvested their first crop.

The theme of the workshop is organic farming and responsible consumption, with the spaces within the city an opportunity for a healthier diet and healthy addition to beautify our urban environment.

At the same time, managing a garden in the city turns into a leisure and enjoyment and back to ground contact.

This workshop, which took place in two very successful previous editions, will provide all the necessary knowledge so that participants are able to create your own organic garden.

The workshop has an excellent teacher, Javier Sanchez Single.

Forest Engineer, specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of ecological urban gardens.

Javier has worked as a teacher in all Urban Ecological Gardens workshops organized by the Association Columbares, having received a high rating by the participants.

The workshop is part of Project Green Homes and Sustainable Housing for All Columbares Association, whose overall objective is to improve household sustainability through environmental audits in homes, awareness and training sessions and workshops on sustainability .

Registration takes place at the Centro de Castilla Doors
