A score of professionals ensure Health Emergency Management Assistance Day Bando de la Huerta (09/04/2012)

The same day last year the teams of Health Emergency Management 191 people attended

A total of 20 non-health professionals and Murcia Health Service (SMS) will work tomorrow, Day of the Bando de la Huerta, to ensure assistance to any incident within the special device organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, through the Health Emergency Management in the Region of Murcia and the Ministry of Presidency, on the occasion of the Spring Festival.

The director of the Health Emergency Management, Francisco Celdran said that "the staff and resources are similar to previous years" and that the goal is "to strengthen the assistance in the municipality of Murcia and other areas left uncovered the Region. "

He added, "the device will be supported by professionals from various hospitals in Murcia".

The SMS will have three teams equipped with emergency equipment and personnel to serve those who so require.

This will install a Mobile Emergency Unit (EMU) set at the Plaza de Santa Isabel and Ambulance Services Primary Care Emergency Service (PCES) in the Silk Garden.

The activity of these teams is reinforced by a Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV), which will be touring throughout the city in order to reach inaccessible places.

Thus, Celdran said, "our aim is to increase health coverage and care to ensure the safety of all citizens."

The head of the emergency device said that "all equipment will be located strategically to meet as soon as possible and as effectively as any health emergency that occurs in the city of Murcia."

All units will be ready from 10:00 hours to respond to any incident and to guard the head of the Coordination Center of Units determined.

On the other hand, with the task to avoid shortages of blood products, the Regional Centre of Blood Donation morning sent a mobile unit to the Health Center of Jumilla and other doctor's office in the hamlet of Coy lorquina for citizens to donate blood from 17:00 hours until 21:00 hours.

All these resources are completed, and work in coordination with the devices of Red Cross and Civil Protection, as "the priority is to provide health care to potential accidents such as sprains, abuse of alcohol or drug use."

For this reason, Celdran called for "prudence and responsibility" to enjoy the day.

Bando's Day last year, SMS professionals attended, until 22:00 hours, 191 people.

Of these, 36 were taken to a health center of Murcia practicarles secondary examinations and provide them a definitive treatment.

Celdran appealed for "caution" to celebrate the Proclamation without excess, and sought the cooperation of citizens to facilitate and expedite the work of emergency teams.
