The University of Murcia assists in the first symposium of experts in the ecclesiastical courts (04/04/2012)

Rotal Counsel and associate professor of psychology at the University of Murcia, Maria Joaquina Escusa Guerrero, is the coordinator of the first Symposium of Experts in the Ecclesiastical Courts, which will run from 18 to 20 April in Murcia, in the Hall of Culture Cajamurcia.

During this conference, ecclesiastical law specialists and psychologists and psychiatrists who act as experts deepen and clarify criteria to assist, both judges and expert witnesses in ecclesiastical courts, in clarifying the truth in cases of marriage annulment.

In addition to unifying the evaluation criteria of the experts who are part of the ecclesiastical courts, presentations and panel discussions scheduled used to analyze the basis of pooling expertise and assessment protocols.

The symposium, organized by the Diocese of Cartagena, will be opened by Bishop Jose Manuel Lorca Planes.
