Councilman Green IU-Murcia Jose Ignacio Tornel today has claimed the municipal council to implement the ordinances on noise and handles "rationally" the occupation of public spaces by private business.
Tornel said that the problem of noise pollution in certain areas, particularly downtown, is the result of "drift in municipal management in reference to noise control and occupation of space."
In his view, small businesses in the downtown should be a source of dynamism and provides economic and social fabric, while "lack of control over this growth activity produces a conflict with the interests of the residents."
In this regard, said that "the proliferation of terraces hidden danger of urban enclaves to the extent that some squares of Murcia today are no longer a nice corner, but a maze of tables, chairs and metal structures."
It has also proposed that the noise problem is addressed from the municipal boards or commissions specific work.
