The professors of Latin Philology at the University of Murcia Rosa Maria Iglesias and María Consuelo Alvarez participated as speakers at the congress held mythography in the city of Lyon (France).
The teachers spoke of the Genealogia Deorum (1350-1375) of Boccaccio's important mythographic manual that have made the translation into Castilian, the first full modern language.
The conference was organized by the Polymnia international network, dedicated to the study of mythographic tradition in Europe from antiquity to the seventeenth century.
