Building Moneo, Murcia, has welcomed this morning's presentation of the book 'Keys to manage Local Political Communication', written by professors at the School of Communication at the Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Antonio Botia, Angel Pablo Cano, Enrique Arroyo, Isabel Sarabia, Pedro Luis Pérez, and José Manuel Noguera.
Note that the work is coordinated and edited by the Deputy Dean of Journalism at the UCAM, Rocio Zamora, has been prefaced by the professor and expert in political communication at the University Complutense of Madrid, María José Canel, who excelled in his role as advises the Minister of Education during the Popular Party government, Pilar del Castillo.
The Associate Dean of Journalism, Rocio Zamora, explained during the presentation that "this work, which analyzes political communication in the local area, is written for professionals working in the political arena as a theoretical and practical manual that will help adequately address the challenges posed by the relations among politicians, journalists and citizens.
Rocío Zamora has stated that each of the chapters of the book is devoted to some of the different aspects of political communication at municipal mediation Journalism, the work of political advisers and the use of new technologies.
"As Professor Canel highlighted in the preface, the book offers tips on how to sequence the events during a campaign, build the brand of a mayor, to humanize the figure across the web and social networks like Twitter or Facebook to maintain the authenticity of blogs, getting better access, presence and effectiveness of web content of the municipalities, promote the city as a tourist destination and provide transparent information on the mayor, "she added.
