Complete work for the new WWTP Sucina II receives wastewater from the district and vicinity (24/07/2011)

Collector will be built to connect the sewage to the treatment plant

The new treatment plant has a treatment capacity of 500m3/día, so treating waste water generated by 6,000 homes

Aguas de Murcia is finalizing the works for the new treatment plant waste water treatment plant Sucina II service to the residents of the hamlet.

Under the Action Plan XXIII Water Murcia will carry out the work connection Sucina wastewater treatment plant to the new WWTP Sucina II.

The City Council has authorized the company Aguas de Murcia, SA occupation of a parcel located on the municipal road Sucina for the works of a leading collector of sanitation sanitation networks in the hamlet to the new treatment plant.

The work was carried out in the vicinity of sewage treatment plants and sewage treatment plant WWTP Sucina I Sucina II in Well Street in the hamlet.

The work consists of installing a collector of 155 meter long reinforced concrete and a length of polyethylene, with a diameter of 1000 mm, which carry sewage from the district and around the WWTP Sucina II, intercepting turn the intake manifold to the WWTP Sucina I from the town of the district.

Existing connections to the treatment plant will be kept current, carrying out their diversion and replacement if necessary, leaving aside scheduled later when I Sucina EDAR out of service.

The deadline for execution of works is two months and are expected to be completed at the end of September.

Sucina WWTP II is finished and will start when they finish the connection works and administrative procedures that are in their final phase.

The treatment capacity of this new treatment plant is 500m3/día, that is, to treat waste water generated by 6,000 homes, or whatever it is, about 21,000 residents.

The purification process of the new WWTP Sucina II is as follows: aerobic biological treatment by carousel, tertiary treatment with coagulation-flotation-sedimentation and sand filtration and ultraviolet disinfection, and sludge treatment line by flotation and dehydration.
