People's Party rejected the motion to issue the Full UPyD Internet (22/07/2011)

The Plenum of the City of Murcia has rejected today, with votes against the Popular Party to vote against the other formations, the motion presented by the plenary UPyD to be recorded and broadcast through the municipal website.

Contrary to the arguments put forward by the party led by Rosa Díez, they did mention the need to increase the transparency of the institution Murcia, Councilman Gomez Carrasco argued citing his vote against the cost implications of the measure.

In his turn to reply, UPyD Councilman Ruben Juan Serna has not accepted the arguments by rejecting the measure, and offered to be the Municipal Group Unión Progreso y Democracia who recorded, relayed and host plenary sessions with their own means, so that does not involve a cost to the Corporation, a proposal was also rejected.

After the plenary, Serna said: "This rejection of the Popular Party demonstrates its interest in continuing to make decisions back to the citizens, and arguments do not convince the neighbors."

The spokesman added: "The PP has lost a beautiful opportunity to convey to the public that wishes to promote transparency are more than empty words."
