The Plenum of the Corporation has started this morning the dissolution of the Urban Planning Department, which will make a more efficient Urbanism, efficient and closer to citizens.
The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, said that management as an autonomous body will disappear, allowing the creation of the Office of Works and Projects that are already working.
This office will allow all projects and all planning will be coordinated into a single service in order to focus action in order to be "more efficient and effective and give more responsive to the needs of Murcia in which we find."
Chamber has also noted that the scope of Urban consolidated municipal service and a more devoted to aspects aimed directly related to the planning, management and licensing.
This will reshape and strengthen the Office of Licensing to eliminate red tape and to facilitate the creation of new activities, new businesses and shops in the city, while enabling faster, more efficient and cheaper from the point of view taxpayers.
