The UCAM launches the Spanish School of Sports Journalism (21/07/2011)

The UCAM and the Spanish Association of Sports Newspapers make public their alliance partnership

The president of the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), José Luis Mendoza, has announced this morning at the gym UCAM Sports Center, the launching of the Spanish School of Sports Journalism from the University in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Sports Media, in which projects will be implemented in the field of education and sport.

Also notable is that the fruit of collaboration between both institutions through a partnership and the creation of the School, will teach next year UCAM 2011-2012 Masters in Sports Journalism.

Regarding the agreement between both institutions, it is noteworthy that this is aimed at the implementation of various training activities related to the world of media and sport within the university.

From the Catholic University of Murcia is explained that the agreement includes, among its points, the possibility that the world of sports professionals can access the Degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication Degree.

The event has involved the president of the Catholic University of Murcia, José Luis Mendoza, the president of the Associated Press Sports Murcia, Juan de Dios Martinez, and Associate Dean of the Degree in Journalism and co-director of the Master UCAM, Rocío Zamora.
