A course in the Universidad del Mar will address the hottest topics of nuclear physics (21/07/2011)

To present the most pointers in nuclear physics is the aim of the course "Current Issues in Nuclear Physics" as part of the programming of the Sea International University-Campus Mare Nostrum, the summer courses at the University of Murcia, which place from 25 to 28 July at Eagles.

The atomic nucleus, star formation, the functioning of the sun, black holes or the Large Hadron Collider will be among the topics discussed.

The goal is for courses to those who know the results and theories on important topics in nuclear physics and other related disciplines such as astrophysics and the latest technology.

The course is led by José Antonio Oller Berber, Professor of Theoretical Physics, University of Murcia, and involves physics professors from different universities.
