Employment continues with its program for the employment of immigrants (20/07/2011)

90 people who will benefit will be trained as a waiter, kitchen and cleaning

The Department of Employment, Trade and Enterprise, led by José María Tortosa, launches the second phase of the project 'Murcia includes 2011', which aims at social integration and employment of immigrants.

The project is aimed at people living in the city of Murcia, mainly women, youth and population groups most at risk of social exclusion.

90 people will benefit.

The project will be developed during the course of 2011/2012.

The program is based on the development of integrated pathways of socio-labor through an initial analysis of the situation of the immigrant, define and develop a series of actions to promote inclusion.

The phases of development are: contact and diagnosis, counseling, training and professionalism, job placement, job search and job placement and job maintenance.

Pre-employment workshops will be developed to improve the skills of each person as Spanish courses for foreigners, social skills and work habits and test preparation free of that.

Subsequently receive specific training in the following specialties: waiter restaurant / bar, kitchen assistant, maid, health and social care to people at home, cleaning buildings and facilities and reception staff and customer relations.

They also do placements and workshops on business development initiatives, equal opportunities and actively seeking employment.

As well as career counseling and mediation and offer additional services such as toy library.

The Board of Governors today approved the project, and to ask the Ministry of Labour and Immigration for a grant to implement the initiative.
