The Faculty of Economics, FOM has the largest faculty of Germany
Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) held this morning the opening ceremony of the Doctoral School UCAM-FOM, which allow you to get a Ph.D. to senior executives of German multinationals such as Mercedes, BMV or Siemens.
During the event intervened UCAM president, José Luis Mendoza, the Minister of Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta, the chancellor of the University, Josefina Garcia, and the rector of the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management , Burghard Hermei.
Note that this is a school graduate in Business Administration (Doctoral School of Business) composed of UCAM prestigious German university and Fachhochschule für Oekonomie & Management (FOM) which aims to train doctors.
The FOM has 17 000 students across 20 study centers located in leading German cities.
Similarly, the University has nearly 200 Germanic university teachers accredited at the Faculty of Economics of the FOM, which is the largest faculty of Germany.
The course will last three years and will allow those enrolled who have been chosen from among a hundred candidates, obtain the degree of European Doctor in the field of Business, Economics and Finance, Catholic University of Murcia .
Students in the Doctorate Program UCAM-FOM will receive training in the facilities of the German university and will have two co-directors, a professor at the UCAM and one of the FOM.
In addition, training will be two meetings a year at the Catholic University of Murcia, which will be taught in English by teachers from the educational institution Murcia.
The Minister of Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta, has ensured that the implementation of this initiative is "a huge leap UCAM, which reflects not only his zeal in the pursuit of excellence, but also the Europeanization ".
Meanwhile, the president of the Catholic University of Murcia, José Luis Mendoza, highlighted the growth experienced by the University in the past year "has been possible thanks to the quality offered by the University," Mendoza has qualified.
In addition, the rector of the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, Hermei Burghard, expressed his satisfaction with this school and has ensured that this agreement is based on the good experience from the relations maintained by both institutions.
"Students who have been in the UCAM have returned with a very good level," he assured Hermei, which has also highlighted the quality of the faculty at the Catholic University of Murcia.
