Chamber encourages the president of the Municipal Board Alquerías to continue working "for the people of the parish" (19/07/2011)

The Mayor presided yesterday the act of constitution of this body, which will be chaired by Francisco Zamora.

After the elections last May 22, the PP won a majority in 56 districts and eight districts of the city, while the PSOE was the most votes in Sucina and Javalí Viejo.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, presided last night the act of incorporation of the Municipal Board for the fifth time Alquerías that will be chaired by the Popular Party's candidate, Francisco Zamora, since from 1995 in all local elections the PP has renewed its absolute majority.

After the inauguration of the nine members and the vote for for president, House said a few words to those present and took the opportunity to encourage members of the Municipal Board to "continue working for the residents of Stables."

Popular Party members yesterday that comprise the Municipal Council of the parish are: Francisco Zamora (President), Jaime Pallares, Luis Manuel de Alhama, Josefa Garre, Francisco Gil and José Francisco Muñoz.

On behalf of the PSOE took over as vocals Fernando José González, Juan Vicente Larosa and Veronica Marin.

Stables was the first hamlet that has become the city council.

Next Thursday will continue the process in Puebla de Soto, James, and Santa Cruz, and Friday Cobatillas.

The Popular Party will chair meetings of 56 districts and 8 district

After the municipal elections held last May 22, the Popular Party has 377 members and will preside together 56 municipal districts, while the PSOE, with 131 members in total, direct meetings and Javalí Sucina Viejo.

IU got 13 members and 1 UPyD.

Regarding the boroughs, the 8 municipal boards shall be chaired by a representative of the PP, which will have 53 members, compared with 11 of the PSOE, 5 and 3 UPyD IU.

For his part, Miguel Ángel Cámara won 60.71% of the votes and retained the title of Mayor most votes of all Spanish cities and in all Spanish cities with more than 200,000.

Thus, for the third consecutive time since 2003, Miguel Angel House has managed to overcome the barrier of 60% public support.
