Ten arrested for criminal simulation in the district police station of El Carmen (15/07/2011)

Fraudulent allegations recounted mostly robbery and intimidation.

Police agents of the National Police of El Carmen district have carried out ten performances by simulations of crime committed during the last three months.

These actions have resulted in the arrest of individuals who have made such claims fraud, which in most cases were designed to generate an administrative document as a basis for fraudulent claims to insurance companies.

The simulation of crime is covered by the Spanish Penal Code as a crime against the Administration of Justice, whose commission carries a fine of six to twelve months, along with the generation of a criminal record.

In many cases, these simulations are intended the claim to insurance companies, criminal action is also, although in the second act, the criminal would be to apply the fault or crime of fraud, depending on the amount defrauded.
