Federico Trillo, PP Justice Spokesperson, will speak on the future of the criminal law in Spain at the Universidad del Mar (14/07/2011)

"Criminal justice in Spain" is the title of a course at the Universidad Internacional del Mar Campus Mare Nostrum to be held in the town of Eagle during the week of 18 to 22 July.

The course aims to rigorously analyze the current situation of Criminal Justice in Spain, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, and making proposals which enhance the administration of justice in this area.

To this end various personalities intervene at the university level as well as lawyers, judges, politicians and members of the Forces of State Security.

The inaugural conference will be borne by Federico Trillo, spokesman for Justice People's Party, who will speak on the future of the criminal law in Spain.

The course includes a discussion on gender violence, as well as presentations on topics such crimes over the Internet or the intervention of telephone communications in criminal investigations, among others.

In parallel, the course will offer various practical sessions, from viewing on DVD several criminal prosecutions recorded especially for the School of Legal Practice of Murcia.

The course is led by Fernando Jimenez Conde, Director of the School of Legal Practice, and Julio Lopez Sigüenza, General Coordinator of the School of Legal Practice, both professors at the University of Murcia.

Those who enroll in this activity will be entitled to three free credits.
