The Department of Youth, directed by Miguel Cascales, continues to provide advisory service to institutions and youth associations in the municipality.
Is provided free of charge to all associations that require it in order to help them apply for the processing aid, both the City Council and the Autonomous Community, European Union and government of the nation-building projects etc.
This service is provided on the premises of the Youth Council, on the street Reporter Carlos Valcarcel, and in the evenings at the youth centers of the Department La Nave and 585m2.
The counseling service provides guidance to youth associations in consultations related to the functioning of associations, establishment of associations, bylaws, accounting, etc..
Also advises on development of activity programs, support the elaboration of projects for grants, oversees the activities of the entities, and reports to City Council the status of the youth association movement, among other things.
The promotion of partnership and participation is one of the main objectives of the Youth Council, developing programs for this purpose and serves as the municipal juvenile facilities, the annual call for grants for youth participation, and partnerships with entities of special interest.
Over 120 local youth associations receive grants each year to conduct its activities.
