The writer Leon Jose Luna Borge, Poetry Prize awarded to Denise Garcia, Universidad de Murcia 2011 (04/07/2011)

Jose Luna Borge, born in the town of Leon de Sahagún in 1952 and based in Seville, has earned his "Boulder" the XI Poetry Award "Denise Smith" at the University of Murcia, in an edition that has had the participation of 208 poems submitted from all Spanish regions and various European and American countries, including Argentina, Costa Rica, United States, France, Belgium and Portugal.

Borge Moon is the author of three books: "The morality" (1989), "Unknown" (1997) and "uncertain days" (2003).

The winner of this award, worth 6,000 euros and the publication of the work, was released Monday by Isabelle Garcia Molina, secretary of the jury at the headquarters of the Rector of the University of Murcia, in an act that has had the presence of the poet who gives name to the Award, Denise Garcia.

Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Murcia, Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, president of the jury, Eloy Sánchez Rosillo poets and José María Álvarez-present at the ceremony, Professor Francisco García Vicente Gómez and Isabelle Molina, highlighted excellence of this book "whose title alludes to the unstoppable passage of life and wear of time," with a final message in the form of verse is a warning to the reader: "life is leaving her alone for a very short path: andarlo not want to do it early or at an inconvenient time.
