San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), has saved this morning, a moment of silence for the victims of the earthquake in Lorca.
Thousands of people including students, faculty and staff at the Catholic University, have been present in this moving ceremony in which the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, has devoted a few words of encouragement to the public, and made a prayer by victims.
Notably, the Department of Architecture of the UCAM, headed by the director of Grado, Juan Roldán, have come to the scene to assist.
In addition, the opening Mass of the 'Third International Congress UCAM / PICU-E 2011', which will take place tomorrow May 13 at 09:30 pm in the Temple of the Monastery of Los Jeronimos, will be chaired by the Bishop of Diocese of Guadix and member of the Episcopal Commission for Social Media, Gines Bishop Ramón García Beltrán.
The Eucharist will be offered for the souls of those killed and those affected by the earthquake.
Furthermore, also framed in Congress, on Saturday, the Bishop of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes, officiate, from 09:30 h.
in the Temple of Los Jeronimos, a Mass in memory of the victims.
