The Chamber Mayor City Council awards prizes for best business ideas (21/12/2010)

26 proposals have been busy this year XVIII Business Project Competition organized by the Department of Employment.

The three editions held this term have led to the creation of 22 companies, which has invested 1.1 million euros and has allowed the creation of 101 jobs

Designing new business projects for the future viability and allow entrepreneurs to get the help and financial and technical support from the City Council is the objective of the Business Project Competition this year has reached its 18 edition.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has delivered this morning of the awards and certificates to the winners and participants in this event, organized by the Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Co-directed by Beatriz Hontoria, which this time has dealt aid amounting to 40,000 euros.

The first award, worth 8,000 euros, has been to Dim Technologies, which specializes in interactive software development of virtual spaces, developed by Bernardeau Julio Enrique Navarro, Ana Maria Bernardeau Navarro, Enrique Bernardeau and Antonio Arnau.

The second prize, worth 7,000 euros, has been to Hue Language Solutions, SL, a translation agency via the Internet to cut costs.

The promoters are María José Guillén and María Begoña Torrente Martínez Pagán.

The third winner is ORPHEUS Trazzo, a joint electronic automatic reading of data in industrial environments to improve the visibility of its processes across the value chain, directed by Marco Fernández Campos, endowed with 6,000 euros.

In addition, ten projects have been awarded consolation prizes of 1,900 euros.

They are: Access Global Employment elaborated upon, SL, EDL Abogados, SL, Software Arise, Inove Telematics, SL, Man At War, Startegik, SL, Yoga and Naturopathy Piensacosas.

On this occasion there have been 26 projects, but from which in 1993 launched, the Murcia have submitted over 300 ideas that had all the ingredients necessary to become a business.

One hundred jobs since 2007

Only in the three previous editions held in the legislature, have set up 22 companies that have provided employment to 101 people and have added a total investment of 1,153,000 euros.

To achieve this they have sought technical and financial support of the City Council, in recent years has allocated about 650,000 euros to help make those proposals a reality business.

The initiative, which this year celebrates its 18th edition, aims to promote entrepreneurship and helping entrepreneurs to carry out their idea, besides encouraging self-employment and job creation.

The jury was chaired by Councilwoman Employment, Beatriz Hontoria and has been as vocal with the other council members municipal groups and representatives of unions and business organizations.
