As part of Christmas activity Development, organized by the Vice-Rector of University Extension
More than 2,000 students from San Antonio Catholic University, will travel over the next 22 to December 23 the main streets and squares of Murcia to compliment the Christmas, Christmas activity under Development, promoted by the Vice-Rector of University Extension University.
The head of vice and operation coordinator Christmas Solidarity, Antonio Alcaraz, explained that "through this initiative, the University intends to show their closeness and solidarity with society Murcia and especially its poorest members."
The Vice Chancellor of University Extension, and director of the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer John Paul II, the UCAM, Antonio Alcaraz, has stood out among the places students visit, the Bishopric, official bodies like the city of Murcia and the headquarters of Autonomous Community, state institutions like the National Police and Civil Guard, and various professional associations.
Volunteers also provide support and care to people in need and will travel to hospitals, nursing homes, churches, businesses, Media, and even Sangonera Prison.
"Through these activities, solidarity, Catholic University wants to join the sentiment of so many believers and nonbelievers that these days expect the good news of a child born in Bethlehem," said Alcaraz.
