Presentation of the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation "Verbum Domini" in the CETEP of Murcia (21/12/2010)

Yesterday was presented at the CETEP of Murcia Synodal Apostolic Exhortation "Verbum Domini, for Benedict XVI, the Word of God in the life and mission of the Church.

Chaired by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Bishop José Manuel Lorca Planes, this event featured the involvement of teachers: D.

Cristóbal Jiménez Sevilla, San Fulgencio IT Director and Professor of Sacred Scripture, D.

Juan Carlos García Domene, Director of ISCC.RR.

San Fulgencio and Professor of Pastoral Theology D.

Ramón Gómez Navarro, Professor of Theology of the Sacraments and Liturgy.

Plans Lorca Bishop said that "we do have a very large gift to the Holy Father," and that "her teaching is helping us to delve into the man of today."

The bishop added that "he will say where is the source from which Christian wisdom, which gives us life," and likewise, "he is saying from the grace that we receive."

"The Pope, while you have defined the treasure of grace, it helps in the teaching and pastoral dimension" - said.

"If we are in the Heart of God in His Word and have no place in our being, we have nothing to say" - he said.

Each of the teachers stated one of the three parts into which this apostolic exhortation.

Sevilla Christopher spoke of the "Hermeneutics of Sacred Scripture", coloring to turn the hazard between dualism and secular hermeneutics.

It also addressed the issue of "faith and reason in relation to the Scriptures" and the interpretation of it have made the Saints.

The second part was given by D.

Ramon Navarro, who focused on "the reception of the Word of God and his transforming power."

Thus, said the liturgy is the "privileged place where the Word of God is updated."

Based on the theological principle, stressed that "Christ is present in His Word proclaimed."

The teacher also explained the "sacredness of the Word", with special emphasis on the Word of God and the Eucharist.

Juan Carlos García Domene closed the third, meditating on the Word of God in the world, from the "announcement, engagement, inculturation and interreligious dialogue."

"The announcement that the world is credible only to the coherence of life" - he said.
