Sports information panels installed seven proposed routes for citizens to walk or run (19/12/2010)

Juan Carlos I, Segura River bridges, Ronda Sur, Garden Silk Garden Lake, Garrison Artillery and the circuits Malecón

The Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, has installed seven information panels offer citizens routes that span different

parts of the city and have different lengths, from 450 meters, the shortest, at 3,500 meters.

There are seven routes to Murcia to walk or run, healthy and highly recommended practices in

times of crisis because it does not cost a penny and are suitable to keep fit and develop healthy habits.

The seven waymarked trails are:

- Juan Carlos I.

Orange Route.

Journey of 3,500 meters-the largest, with the start and end at the Plaza Circular.

Go through Abenarabi Avenue, Juan de Borbón, Prince of Asturias and Juan Carlos I.

- Bridge of the River Segura.

Blue Route of 3,200 meters, starting from the gangway Miguel Caballero, is by Lieutenant Flomesta, Paseo de Garay, Mayor Jorge Palacios, Avenida Infante Juan Manuel, Volunteer Plaza and Avenida Rio Segura.

- Ronda Sur: pink circuit of 1,035 meters.

The sports of Santiago El Mayor is the point of departure and arrival and goes into a triangle by the General Street Ortín, José Antonio Camacho and Morera.

- Silk Garden.

Orange Route.

Has a length of 3,100 meters from the entrance to the garden in the Plano de San Francisco, along the road and rail The Ñora of Torres, from which it returns to the starting point.

10,000 leaflets have been printed on each route, and distributed to the municipal sports facilities.
