About 3,500 people visit the new Job Portal City Hall in two months (13/12/2010)

About 3,500 people have visited the Local Employment Portal since it opened, on 4 October.

This is a free service of the Employment Department of the Municipality of Murcia send the curriculum, find deals, access to jobs and even offer employment.

In total there have been 5,729 visits, 27,224 have surfed portal pages.

Each visit has taken an average of 3.11 minutes to visit the site and have found a 60.13% of new visitors.

Most visitors (76.61%) did so through the council's website, a 9.13% directly and 2.44% through the web of Informajoven.

For search engines have entered the job portal 1.87% of the visitors.

5,663 people have been visiting residents in Spain, although there have been approaches from the United Kingdom, Holland, Germany and the U.S.

The portal is accessed primarily from the browser Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Safari.

This service can be accessed from any computer via the Council's website by clicking on the link icon Job Portal.

To use all the services the user must be registered, but you can enter as a guest (unregistered) and you can see the jobs advertised.

The data of registered users are treated according to Law 15/1999 on Data Protection, and will always be modified or canceled.

The site offers two options for businesses and for job seekers.

Companies are registered and can post their offers, unlimited and free.

Job seekers can attach your photograph, curriculum written in Word or PDF, or fill out a form provided by the web.

You can also attach letters of introduction, recommendation, etc.

Any registered user may be a candidate for various jobs advertised, and in the 'state' verify enrollment date in the offer, position, etc.

It also offers the option to unsubscribe at any time.

In addition, the job portal enables users to receive the new offers that fit your profile by email or SMS to mobile phone by clicking the icon 'Add Alert'.

Each company has its personal profile with your data (CIF, name or business name, address, phone, fax, email, contact person, description of activity, etc).

Companies manage each of your job, can check the number of visits, view the curriculum of the candidates, etc.

Councilmember Employment, Beatriz Hontoria has encouraged companies to use this service which is fast, easy and there is no cost.
