The City Council and Blue in Action made a calendar to raise money for child victims of cholera in Haiti (10/12/2010)

The Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, who heads Beatriz Hontoria, and the NGO Action Blue, have published a calendar of solidarity, with familiar characters from Murcia and children from different countries, with the aim of raising funds for children affected by cholera in Haiti.

In the calendar selflessly participated matador Pepin Liria, the tennis player Nicolas Almagro, the group Second, the model Maria José Besora, the painter Pedro Cano, actress Pepa Aniorte, artist Christopher Gabarrón, Real Madrid footballer Pedro Leon, Orchestra director Virginia Martínez, Ginés García Millán actor, cyclist Alejandro Valverde and the directors of the Spanish Ballet of Murcia, Carmen and Matilde Rubio.

The photographs were taken by Tomas Larrosa, Leticia Pérez and Paco Murcia, and the designer is John Goca.

The calendars will sell for a price of 5 euros in a kiosk to be installed at the front door of El Corte Ingles, from today until December 24 in Cajamurcia Foundation, the Cooperation Office of the City Council Murcia (Plaza Beato Hibernón) and at the headquarters of Blue in Action (street Emilio Piñero).

They have also collaborated Cajamurcia Foundation, La Verdad, El Corte Ingles, Study Paper Mirror, Study Goca, Worldiris Productions, Mursiya Photo, Video Bienestar and Murcia.
