The new space technologies are gaining role in the negotiations with the government (03/12/2010)

The Mayor signed a collaboration agreement with the President of the Autonomous Community to advance the modernization and transformation of government

The City Council's commitment to advance the modernization and transformation of government in order to improve the service provided to citizens has experienced a significant boost with the signing of a cooperation agreement signed this morning between the President of the Autonomous Region and the Mayor of Murcia.

The agreement adopted by Valcárcel and House-which is also incorporated other municipalities in the region, is an improvement in the delivery of eGovernment services, which in turn will have important consequences for the efficient use of public resources and the simplification of administrative procedures.

It is about applying information technology for the promotion, development and implementation of online electronic services in order to realize e-government for the benefit of citizens and businesses.

With its entry into force and after adaptation to local law, citizens must present a government documents in the possession of another, such as identity documents, certificates of large families, etc..

To this end, the agreement signed this week provides the sharing of certain services, including:

- Telematics services for local authorities provided by the ministries and agencies for the overall management of the Network through SARA, which is connected the region.

- Platform for eGovernment in the Autonomous Community.

- Platform CARM services for local authorities.

- Neutral access network to interconnect CARM administrative units in the municipality.

Thus, the services incorporated in the platform of the CARM are:

- Portal / CMS: it represents both the content delivery service to the citizen (including portals municipalities, guide services, etc..) And content management.

- Document management: to manage the documents generated in the administration as a result of their daily activities.

- Records management: responsible for the automation of administrative management, covering the steps you follow a procedure since the application is submitted until it is sent notifying the person concerned, either approval or rejection.

- Step / consulted allows a citizen to initiate and view transactions.

- Monitoring: Provision of dashboards to aid decision making, which will track how you're paying the city service

- Electronic payment: the transferring of money between citizens and local government for the payment of taxes, public fees, etc.

- Electronic signature: allows the use of digital certificates for citizens to identify and link it to an electronic document.

- Time Stamping Authority: set date and time of electronic documents

- Register telematics: telematically to interact with the public for submission of documents and requests without having to go to the Registrar General.

- Notification telematics: citizens receive, on a confidential and secure, all notices from the government in a mailbox associated with your "unique electronic address."
