The centers of the University of Murcia received today, at the hands of the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, certificates of positive evaluation of the systems of internal quality assurance (GIS) are designed for future implementation.
Certificates, awarded by the Quality Agencies ANECA, Galicia (ACSUG) and Catalonia (AQU) in the AUDIT program have been granted to all faculties of the University, except those of Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry, Communication and Documentation already received certificates last year in the pilot phase of the program.
Cobacho, the delegate of the Rector for Quality, Antonio López Cabanes, and the rector of Studies, Concepción Palacios, stated in their speeches that, once designed all SIG, "now is their implementation, and its usefulness in improving the school management and teaching that takes place in them. "
José María Jiménez Cano, dean of the Faculty of Arts, spoke on behalf of their peers from other schools and appealed to the highest quality teaching which can lead to the implementation of quality systems.
The event, held in the building "Luis Vives", was attended by representatives of deans and deans of all faculties of the University of Murcia.
