The Department looks to create an annual Fireworks Festival, given the success of this call The First Fireworks Competition Fair in September has proved a resounding success, both the number of people who enjoyed the castles and the number of survey participants selected on the web www.murcia.es to choose the best of pyrotechnics. Thus, it has been won by the team of Pyrotechnics Murcia, who opened the competition on Sept. 2 in the gardens of the Malecon, launch most colorful and spectacular castle.
The company has received 595 votes, with 48 lead over the second.
They have also participated in the contest business Pirodex Pyrotechnics, Fireworks and Pyrotechnics Ángel Cañete Cánovas. Cast their votes for a total of 1,820 people in this poll to choose the winner of the contest, which has received an award from the City of Murcia credited as winner the first prize in this first edition of the Fireworks Competition.
All participants received a commemorative plaque as a gift. The high turnout in this first contest has encouraged the Department of Festivals and Popular Culture to study the possibility of creating an annual Festival of Fireworks. Remember that this contest has been a what's new in this Fair in September 2010.
The fireworks were launched on 2, 7, 10 and 12 September in the gardens of the Malecon, the FICA and Glorieta from Spain. The poll to choose the best was active for four days on the municipal website www.murcia . is
