Murcia City Council celebrates the World Tourism Day with a path to Caravaca organized by the Department of Tourism, Maria Isabel Valcárcel directing.
During the visit involve more than one hundred people.
This meeting will allow participants to gain the Jubilee, as well as knowing the historic old town.
The activity started at 9 am in the pavilion.
A bus will transfer participants to Caravaca to visit the Temple of the Bath, Main Street Church of El Salvador and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
At 11.30 am Jubilee event will take place in El Salvador, at 12.00 Jubilee Mass at the Shrine of the True Cross, then we will visit the Shrine and its surroundings.
After lunch, attendees will tour the Fuentes del Marqués.
Participants are accompanied by a guide.
Caravaca is one of the five places of Christianity that is privileged to celebrate Holy Year in perpetuity every 7 years, in recognition that professes devotion to the relic to the Sanctuary of Vera Cruz is home.
This route is part of 'Get Guide', which provides visits to various parts of the municipality of Murcia to present different aspects of their history, customs, traditions.
