Murcia 2016 commitment to citizen participation in the areas of visual arts and gastronomy (26/08/2010)

Festival, low-budget short film and photography and the path 'Tapas in Europe' up the project to get the European Capital

The draft European Capital of Murcia 2016 also has space for visual arts and culinary arts, areas which have been stationed, and the rest of the program, citizen participation.

Thus, institutions and entities representing the application (City of Murcia, Regional Government, Universidad de Murcia, Universidad Católica San Antonio, Caja Murcia and Caja Mediterráneo) have included a section in the program to interest the film industry by focusing on three complementary areas:

Training on film, with the collaboration of several European institutions:

- About European cities (Rome, Berlin, Bologna ...)

Implementation.

The film creation: Festival of short films made by young people, in collaboration with the Department of Education, British Film Institute.
