Councilmember IU + LV, Esther Herguedas has sent a letter to the Department of Environment, Head of Public Roads for which he conveys his concern about the power outage in the craft market located in the Paseo del Malecon.
According to the spokesman explained IU + LV, this court has been run by the electricity company because of unpaid bills and is a consequence of the economic difficulties being experienced by these traders.
Since the connection and the payment is made jointly, the consequence is that the court will essentially suffer less guilt merchants have kept open for their jobs and have paid their electricity dues.
It also notes that as at this time of high temperatures most interesting business hours is in the final hours of the afternoon and early night, is resorting to the use of motors, batteries, autonomous groups that fill up all the cables and are a source air and noise pollution as well as generating a security risk.
It has therefore requested that the council will provide connection to a point of light that allows solving the problem until it can be resolved otherwise.
