The Santa Quiteria Palace is dressed in spring (22/04/2018)

The Santa Quiteria Palace opens a new exhibition dedicated to spring.

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, inaugurated this morning the new exhibition that, under the name 'Estación Primavera', includes the works of 14 artists from Murcia.

All the works were made last Sunday, April 15 in the first edition of 'La mudanza'

The protagonists of the new exhibition are Carmen Artigas (Flowering in Cieza), Inma Escudero (Primavera flamenca), Santi García Cánovas (Persephone), Clara Ledo (Blooming Light), Andrea Lopardo (Muschanica), Eva Mauricio (Mirage V), Concha Martínez Montalvo (Spring in female), María Joaquina Sánchez Dato (Spring Sonata), Guillermina Sánchez Oró (The almond tree in bloom), Sofía Tornero (Spring returnable), Belén Pereñíguez (Spring air), Gelu Pérez (Azahar), Ana Piñera (The explosion of spring) and Noemi Yepes (Naachira flowering).

The works have been captured on canvases measuring 1.4 meters high by 70 centimeters wide and, after being photographed, they occupy the 14 windows of the Santa Quiteria palace.

Councilman Jesus Pacheco explained that "in this third exhibition of the Santa Quiteria Palace we wanted women to take center stage embellishing the building and that their works are admired by the passers-by in this open-air museum"
