The Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs has launched, for the first time, the call for the selection of projects for the program 'Business Accelerator Murcia-Inicia.

The initiative, which will run from May 2 to June 29, will benefit 10 business projects, which will be selected during the month of April, with the possibility of participating in the public call for proposals.
subsidies to entrepreneurs that can be convened by the City of Murcia and with the ease of access to financing through the company Avalam and Wannaseed.
This plan is aimed at any type of project and will be prioritized for those who are in the initial or growth phase.
These entrepreneurs must have among their objectives the creation of a website associated with the business project.
The program has 6 two-hour training talks on strategy, finance, marketing, sales and other aspects necessary to start a business.
There will also be mentoring with professionals who will accompany the participants during the duration of the initiative, along with the possibility of consulting lawyers, economists, notaries and registered social graduates.
In addition, the creators of the 10 projects are offered the possibility of creating a network of contacts with companies linked to the Center for Municipal Initiatives (CIM) in different events.
The inscriptions in this initiative must be made in the Register of the City of Murcia in the Plaza Apostles following the model that appears both in www.murcia.es/empleo and ayto-murciacim.es until Tuesday, April 10.
Registration in the program is free, but those interested must meet the following requirements:
- Not to be developing business activity or to have started as of January 1, 2017.
- Be of legal age and have full capacity to act.
- Be registered in the municipality of Murcia or that the registered office of the legal entity is registered in the municipality.
- Not be an employee, administrator, partner or maintain commercial relationship of service provision with the City of Murcia or with any of the companies involved in the realization of the program, as well as not being a direct relative of any person who has such a relationship.
- To have fully formalized the enrollment in the program, completing all the required data in a timely manner.
- Not having been convicted by a final judgment, for intentional crimes, with a penalty equal to or greater than six months, until the criminal responsibility has been extinguished.
- Do not have debts with the Public Administration, Social Security, Treasury or City Council.
