The Municipal Network of Study Rooms of Murcia, dependent of the RMBM, has incorporated new dependencies with the commissioning yesterday of the Sangonera la Verde facilities.

In the project for the reform of the library of that parish, a space was reserved for the installation of the study room, as has been done in the projects under execution in Beniaján and in the writing for the transfer of the Pelagio Ferrer Library in The Palmar.

The room has an area of ​​81.54 m2 for a maximum capacity of 44 students.

The access is done through a proximity card - which can be requested at www.salasestudio.rmbm.org - configured by the Integrated Internet Access Management System (SICAi), which also controls lighting, air conditioning, intrusion alarms and fire, antipanic system and closed circuit television, all elements connected to a central reception.

The investment made in the works of reform of the municipal library amounts to 349,000 €, to which are added 16,000.00 € corresponding to the equipment and electronics of the study room.

It has its address in the same building as the library (Calle Médico Julián Urriza), but its entrance is through Juan de la Cierva Street, 3.

The Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, who yesterday handed out the user cards, accompanied by the president of the municipal board of Sangonera la Verde, Juan Jiménez, recalled that 'the Municipal Network of Study Rooms provides a space suitable for young people to face their academic activities, regulated or not, in an appropriate environment and with the necessary amenities to study.
