The Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development has carried out a transformation of two large spaces of the garden of the Three Cups in the Fleet.

One of them, already open to the public, "has become a playground and enjoyment for children and families of more than 500 square meters." It has several novelties such as the swing for parents and children that allows to enjoy with the smaller with absolute security, as well as slides and springs ", explains the mayor Guillén.

This space, in addition, is equipped with a perimeter security fence of colors, padded floor adapted to the current regulations and a microperforated awning of 130 square meters.

But it is not the only innovation and improvement planned for this garden, since in front of this children's area you will soon be able to enjoy an area of ​​more than 300 square meters where classic and modern will be combined.

"We had the idea of ​​returning to the children the games of yesteryear, those that have always been played on the street such as the twister, hopscotch, a concave mirror panel, a pingpong table as well as different game panels for all ages ", emphasizes Guillén.

According to forecasts, this space will be available shortly for all residents of Murcia and aims to promote the use and enjoyment of gardens and green areas as a meeting place for young people, children and adults.

Also, in this space have also made innovations such as the placement of "banks in the form of a wave" that allow those who wish to lie on them and enjoy the garden area.

Similarly, the possibility of improving the square located on Pontel de la Flota Street is being studied, where pruning of some of its specimens will be carried out and a Sevillian albero will be placed to improve the current visual appearance.
