The Faculty of Letters of the University of Murcia has called a competition for students to relive the pleasure of writing letters as in the past;
the contest is included within the acts of the III Week of the handwritten letter.
The participants must write an epistolary text putting themselves in the place of a character of a literary work that maintains a correspondence with another character of the same book or of a different one.
This creative exercise can be written in both prose and verse.
The deadline for submission of these works ends on April 11.
Students who get one of the prizes will participate in a continuous reading of letters to be held on April 16 as part of the events of the III Week of the handwritten letter, which will take place between April 17 and 23.
The jury will be composed of professors from the University of Murcia and three prizes will be awarded.
