Gómez: "We have just presented an Investment Plan in districts and the PSOE has not proposed anything in education" (20/03/2018)

The councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, Rafael Gomez, has responded this afternoon to the spokesperson of the socialist municipal group, Susana Hernandez, who today has criticized the municipal dedication in educational matters.

"It is truly surprising that just a few days ago we presented a Plan for Investment in Pedanías, worth 14 million euros, and that the PSOE was not able to include or present any measure related to the dedication of the City Council in educational matters, nor the investment we made in the centers, "said the councilor.

"We are talking about measures worth 14 million euros, distributed throughout the districts and in very different areas, but surprisingly they have not raised interest among the Socialists, but suddenly, it has entered their list of priorities.

"This year the municipal budget collects items worth more than 900,000 euros for the maintenance and repair of schools in the municipality, 15% more than in the previous year, adding 100,000 euros to the investment made."
